The legal board set
A four-by-four board is chosen uniformly from legal placements of the selected 3, 4 or 5 mines. Within each row, mines form at most one contiguous block; an empty row is allowed. The board remains fixed during the round.
Update the conditional probabilities
After safe reveals, gross quote = 0.96 × captured stake × initial legal-board count / remaining compatible-board count. Each safe reveal keeps only boards where that cell is safe. The captured stake is fixed at start and does not grow as cells are revealed. A mine ends the round with zero return.
A concrete three-mine example
With 3 mines, the initial legal support has 408 boards. If cell 0 is safe, 338 boards remain and the gross multiplier is 0.96 × 408 / 338, approximately 1.1588. If cells 0, 1 and 2 are all safe, 199 boards remain and the multiplier is approximately 1.9682. Cell indices are row-major from 0 at top left to 15 at bottom right.
Collection and the guard
Cells that are certainly mines are disabled. A cell is also disabled if its safe outcome would quote more than 1,000 times the stake. When no eligible reveal remains, the current quote is collected automatically. Manual collection becomes available after the first safe reveal.
One captured stake
Choose the stake and mine count while idle. Starting captures and debits one whole stake. Stake, mine count and restore are locked during the round; eligible cell reveals and sound remain available. There is no automatic round queue. Collection is a virtual settlement action, not an external transfer.
Account for saved coins
Whole balance and fractional carry persist in localStorage. Restore sets a low idle balance to 1,000 and preserves carry. Reload loses the continuation of an unfinished round without refund. Removing site storage is different from restoring the balance or clearing cached files.
Frequently asked questions
How are boards selected?
A four-by-four board is chosen uniformly from legal placements of the selected 3, 4 or 5 mines. Within each row, mines form at most one contiguous block; an empty row is allowed. The board remains fixed during the round.
Can a row have no mines?
Yes. A row may be empty; if it contains mines, they form one contiguous block.
Which mine counts can I choose?
3, 4 or 5, chosen before starting.
Do safe odds remain fixed?
No. Safe reveals filter the compatible legal boards, so each remaining cell’s conditional safe probability is recalculated.
Does each safe cell add another stake?
No. One whole stake is captured and debited at the start; it remains fixed throughout that round.
How is the gross quote calculated?
After safe reveals, gross quote = 0.96 × captured stake × initial legal-board count / remaining compatible-board count. Each safe reveal keeps only boards where that cell is safe. The captured stake is fixed at start and does not grow as cells are revealed. A mine ends the round with zero return.
When can I collect manually?
After at least one safe reveal, while the round remains active.
Which cells are disabled?
Already revealed cells, cells certainly containing a mine, and cells whose safe outcome would exceed the 1,000-times-stake quote guard.
When does automatic collection occur?
When no eligible reveal remains, including when every safe cell has been revealed or remaining safe transitions exceed the guard.
Does 96% mean a guaranteed balance?
No. It is an exact expectation of gross return relative to the captured stake, including mine losses, not a promised session result.
How does restore work?
While idle with a whole balance below 10, it sets the balance to 1,000 and preserves fractional carry. It does not add 1,000.
Does reload refund an unfinished round?
No. The unfinished round ends without refund or resume. Stored whole balance and fractional carry remain unless site storage is removed.
